Album Notes
This is Jim’s 21st album!! Recorded live in front of a studio audience at Jack Straw Productions, in Seattle, WA – April, 2010. With Jim’s favorite players in ensemble: Grant Dermody on harmonica, Michael Gray on fiddle, Erin Corday vocals and bamboo flute, and Joel Litwin percussion. Special guest Joe Martin on 2nd harmonica, tracks 11 and 12. All these songs stand up and sing what they have on their minds – some with whimsical ear pictures, some with historical politics, some with the yearning of long gone friends. All with the great interpretive music of these master players – sometimes sounding like a laughing calliope and sometimes like the soundtrack strings to a life story.

Recorded mixed and mastered in a total of 14 hours this is Jim Page’s best album to date. Immediate, graceful, alive and self confident, these songs will change the way you listen to acoustic music.
