Album Notes
For over forty years now, since first setting foot onstage at Union Grove Fiddlers Convention in 1974, I have tried my best to bring a little beauty and humor into this often ugly, humorless world. Not always with proper grace and humility, but it has been a sincere effort. Hope you will join me.

Nostalgia visit
All of the country /Folks songs which catch my attention bring a visual to mind while listening. I can very easily get caught up in the story of this lone cowboy riding the range and finding a lady in need at Christmas.. Great music!

Glenn Few

Having grown up in Florida, and having spent most of my subsequent life in the Sonoran Desert, I'm inclined to regard even a few inches of snow as life-threatening. There can be a lot more than a few inches of it during the winters in Wind River, Wyoming, and this song suggests that only those with warm hearts can even survive in such conditions, much less thrive. It leaves open the question of whether or not the two people in it will go their separate ways after coming in out of the cold, but it seems clear enough to me that their shared experience will have changed them both for the better.

Great song!
This is a perfect song to add to your Christmas playlist! Jim Pipkin expertly captures the spirit of a cowboy Christmas. Give this a listen, and support independent artists!

Wind River Christmas
I may be a Little Biased, I have know Jim since the Mid-Sixties and I can tell you there has never been a Song that he wrote that I dis-liked, and 'Wind River Christmas " continues on that list!, Jim can tell a story in song and is one of the best!

The story teller
One of my favorite singer, songwriter, story tellers and entertainers—all in one. Jim is one of the few performers that just keeps getting better. Sit back, listen, and like his other songs, Wind River Christmas will take you somewhere else in time. Enjoy the journey. .
