Album Notes
Jim Pospisil is a singer songwriter from the Hudson Valley whose songs are marked by well crafted, sometimes quirky lyrics and themes from the personal to the profound. A mix of folk, blues, rock and whatever else leaps to mind, his guitar and harmonica performances can be soft and subtle, or wild and energetic. He blends it all with a wry sense of humor, his goal is to make you laugh, cry, or think. Sometimes all at once.

Since the 1970s, He has performed solo and with various bands as a multi instrumentalist, on guitar, keyboards, flute, mandolin, harmonica, dulcimer and bass.
He has released three cds of original songs; "Songs From The Periphery" , "Acre Bay", and his new cd "Some Follow, Some Lead" . The new cd features Jim alongside his son Jeff on 6 string bass and drummer Roy Notaro. Together they have performed as Bucket Of Mud.
Jim is performing solo throughout the tri state area, appearing on the bill with Leo Kottke, Dave Mason, Priscilla Herdman, Vance Gilbert and many others. He also performs currently with the bands Maggie's Farm, Flash Company (traditional Irish music) and The Feds.
