ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ...We are governed, our minds are moulded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organized. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. ...In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons...who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”
― Edward L. Bernays, Propaganda

It did not work !

This century, has been the bloodiest and most environmentally damaging since our human ancestors first walked upright around 5 million years ago. For me it is not coincidental that this was also the first century of mass communication, and that Western governments have relied heavily on propaganda in order to manufacture consent for the supremacy of the military industrial complex over all other considerations of human interest. The resulting havoc and destabilisation all around the world has been devastating, and with no let up to date, and irresponsible economic policies that always favour the elite and widen the wealth gap, I believe the people of the so called free democratic nations must strive for change.

The Internet, in its infancy is a revolutionary technology for mankind allowing two way mass communication to all, unlimited diversity and selectivity by anyone connected, and the results have been devastating for the ability of the oligarchy to maintain their control over public opinion through propaganda. As false flags are exposed, disillusionment escalates and cracks are appearing in the façade, we must expect, and see signs of a retaliation by the oligarchy in attempts to curb net neutrality by fostering and publicising extremism and to use that as an excuse to curb dissent and censor the internet.

As we are now facing our own provoked destabilisation and I expect a prompt 'solution' in the near future, our only defence would be a critical mass of citizenship who see the move for what it is, and call for changes in their government instead of changes to their freedom of information and expression.
