Album Notes
The long-awaited “Rumble & Twang” album presents acclaimed virtuoso guitarist Jinx Jones at his finest. Great songs, soulful country vocals, and infectious twangy guitar playing abound on this 13-track CD.
“The CD is a tour de force instrumental that has Jinx mixing single-line work, great chordal soloing, and low-string twanging into a rowdy rockabilly treat. And Jinx shows throughout the album that he can do more than just spit old licks back at you.”
- Vintage Guitar magazine

Bassist Joe Kyle and Drummer Jamie Lease deliver inspired performances along with some hell-raisin’ boogie-woogie piano by Caroline Dahl. More than just a tribute to musical genres of the past, this CD delivers some inspired songs that stand up to anything coming out today.

“The breakout star here is Jones’ guitarwork. Honky tonk-twanged expressiveness and riotous rockabilly exclamations are freely integrated with flurries of jazz-inflected phrasings, claiming center stage on every winning cut.”

Once again Jinx proves there's no better player of this style than him. In that i mean blues, jazz, swing & RAWK-a-billy!!!

Great CD - A Guitar Virtuoso
This is a great CD, which shows Jinx's mastery of rockabilly, jazz/blues and surf guitar. Jinx pens some great songs on this CD, all of which leave you wanting more. I took one star away only because the mix of music is a little bit less coherent than his first CD, License to Twang (which is a 6 out of 5).

Rumble and Twang
After hearing Jinx live in San Francisco I had to own some of his music. It is great to paint to! Lots of great sound and makes you want to dance!

great cd
This is my first encounter with Jinx Jones and I must say why haven't I heard of him before. I really like the cd. It gets better every time I listen to it. I am a big fan of rockabilly and this cd really hits the spot for me. Would love to see him live.

Jinx Jones rocks!!
I've been a fan of Jinx ever since I read the review of License To Twang in GP mag and bought the disc. The follow up did not disappoint. Buy it!!

An Incredible Collection of Great Music
This is the kind of music that you would playlist for yourself if you wanted to spend about an hour in rockabilly, surf and jazz guitar heaven. Even the mix of tracks is presented in a creative way so that you get a nice blend of different styles of music. The only downside to this CD is Track 6 - it's a little over the top and doesn't fit well with the other songs. But overall - incredible!
