ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jive Coulis is most definitely known for their hair raising, fist pumping power rock n roll music. This album is an attempt by the band to touch on the lighter more sensitive side of their musical experience. The album was recorded at Rons Odyessy studio over the course of a few months in hornbrook, CA. The preliminary takes were of the acoustic guitar (Eric Leadbetter), and the electric bass (Jordan Mack). From there they overdubbed all lyrics and back up vocals as well as percussion, snare work (Collin Braley), mandolin, and woodwinds (Brian Risling). The last of parts of the album were recorded in a cabin in the woods of Mt. Ashland, OR. We are happy to bring you this album, and are very excited how it turned out. Especially for being 100% self produced with the exception of being mastered by Mark Johnson of Blue Jay Productions! Thanks for taking the time to experience Jive Coulis in all of its forms.
