Album Notes
Jeremy Nail grew up in Albany,Texas, and as a young boy discovered the guitar as an escape. Through the influence of artists like Steve Earle, Paul Westerberg and Tom Petty, songcraft quickly became his calling. In January 2005 Jeremy moved to Austin, Texas, and within a year began recording his first album 'Letter' with producer Mark Addison(Ian Moore, Will Sexton, Jeff Klein) and Austin band Fastball's drummer Joey Shuffield. The recording contains mature, well structured rock and roll, set to lyrical themes of love, loss and and redemption.

David Grissom(Dixie Chicks, Joe Ely, John Mellencamp) says, "I've been digging Jeremy's CD. It has that 'thing' that makes you want to listen all the way through and start it over again."

Jeremy's band The Incidents consists of a powerful group of Austin players.

Bass player Harmoni Kelly has worked with Fastball, Jon Dee Graham and Mary Cutrufello.

Drummer Kyle Schneider has worked with Ian Moore, Charlie Sexton and Will Sexton.

Lead guitarist, Chris B. Ware has worked with Casey Crowley, Brandon Jenkins Band and Maggie Walters.

This high energy ensemble, fronted by Jeremy's aggressive guitar and passionate vocals exudes a powerful chemistry.

Chris 'Whipper' Layton(Double Trouble) says, "I don't like to label music metaphorically or otherwise. either I like something or I don't. I like Jeremy Nail."

Jeremy has a weekly residency at downtown Austin club Momo's, and an acoustic side project with songwriter Dustin Welch called The Ruthless Gondoliers. He spends a great deal of time in his recording/rehearsal studio The Wigwam, where music is created and shaped into new songs.

Charlie Sexton says, "Jeremy Nail is the most promising up and coming singer/songwriter in Austin and beyond."

Jeremy Nail and The Incidents' future goals include increased touring and continued creation of material for their next recording

great rock and roll ear candy
this record has pleasing sounds coming from everywhere. i recommend checking out the snippets of "critical deadline" and "beautiful storm." a pleasure to listen to and to play drums with, if you'll pardon the ending prepositions.
