Album Notes
SOLITARY LISTENING was created using new state-of-the-art equipment. This is the third CD album available publicly from James N. Couvutsakis, a non-performing songwriter. He has been continually influenced by all styles of musical thought. His special area of interest is Film Music Scores, and its composers. James Couvutsakis has written scripts for independent video productions, and has sound design and incidental music experience with educational and documentary video projects.

PHOTO MUSIC (the second CD) was used as background music for the opening reception of a VIEW FINDERS Photo Exhibit. This exhibit was held during the summer of 2013 at the Springville Center for the Arts in Springville, New York.

An early music project was a film score (LC PHANTOM) for Lon Chaney's "Phantom of the Opera" (1925), composed in 1989 on a digital sampling keyboard (pipe organ). All CDs are available now on CD Baby and other music sites.

His part-time business, Digital Poster Art, successfully dealt with photographic and fine art reproduction printing services for over 10 years, and now that website contains some of his music.
