Album Notes
Joanna Joy Costa was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC), which means she has limited use of her fingers. Now 15 years old, and with the use of only 4 fingers, this album showcases her classical playing style. Joanna is skilled not only in piano, but is teaching herself how to play the hammer dulcimer.

In Joanna's own words: "Playing these pieces, even with a disability, allows me to enjoy the beauty of music - a beauty I hope to share with others. Having to work harder perhaps than others to perform the pieces gives me an even greater appreciation of the compositions."

Pieces selected include sonatinas from Muzio Clementi and Joseph Haydn.

Joanna would like to thank Janet Robertson (assistance with arrangement), Roy Costa (recording), Sarah Fisher (photography), and Nancy Costa (everything else). This album was recorded using a Yamaha piano and Logic Express.
