ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When I went to pianist, Frank Wilkins with the idea of making a CD with just Piano and Vocal he looked surprised . I asked him if he had done this kind of recording before and he said he hadn't but it sounded like an interesting challenge.
So we set out to put this project together.
I had written a couple of songs a few years ago and thought it'd be fun to include them. My husband has mixed feeling about "Yes Dear" when we perform it in public. "One More Year" is a tribute to our approach to staying married. Taking things one year at a time.
This singer who loves to sing jazz tunes also has a passion for all songs performed by Rod Stewart and so as incluced both "Have I Told You Lately "and" Forever Young."
As we delved further into the project I started to see that with Frank's fine piano playing and arranging skills and his patience with a singer who never stops pushing herself, that we would have a great recording.
