ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The ‘always’ soundtrack is the essence of Norfolk Island’s natural healing sounds that you can download and listen to… wherever you are in the world!

This meditative soundtrack is an accumulation of two years of field recordings capturing the sound of nature on Norfolk Island, in the South Pacific.

"Today we are rediscovering how important sound and music are for us. Modern science now supports the ancient belief that all matter comes from vibration or sound. Physicists have found that the physical world is made up of vibrating energy. Sound healing is the therapeutic use of sound and music for healing. Sound healing offers the possibility of a drug-free way of treating pain and illness. It is simple to use and has no harmful side effects." From UK article - ‘Sound Healing' March 2014

The ‘Always’ soundtrack offers deep relaxation for:
stress, anxiety, emotional angst, worry, energy blockages, headaches, migraines, restlessness, grieving, sadness, insomnia and recovery after surgery, trauma & hospitalisation. Playing these natural sounds helps to calm unsettled, teething babies.

What sounds will you hear?
• White fairy terns as they nestle in the St Barnabas Chapel pines at dusk
• Black-winged petrels as they echo the northernmost cliffs of Norfolk Island
• Raindrops sounding a pitter patter on a tin roof
• Evening thunder rumbling out in the far distant South Pacific Ocean
• Rain pouring cleansing all the surrounds
• Whistling and warbling of the forest birds at Mount Bates
• Delicate fantail birds singing their melodious songs
• Emily Bay’s gentle waves lapping the shore before rising to high tide
• The power of ocean rolls Cascade basalt rocks like marbles
• 100 acre noddys and terns as they soar in majestic pinetrees
• Tropic birds call as they circle clifftops to the pulse of the ocean
• Darkness falls to the sound of the Norfolk’s night orchestra
To silence... the pause in nature’s symphony....

How to listen to this CD:
Find a quiet space; sit or lay comfortably and cover yourself with a light blanket to keep your body warm. Close the door and turn off any mobiles, alarms or other noises. Create a silent sanctuary for one hour. Ask your family or friends to respect this quiet time for your own deep relaxation. Turn on the soundtrack and allow your breath to follow the natural sounds of bird calls, rain pattering, ocean surging...and more... as they are interwoven harmoniously into a complete sound meditation. Place your hands on your solar plexus and just breathe. If your thoughts begin to ‘monkey-chatter’, don’t attach to them, just surrender, let them go. Bring your attention back to your breath. Breathe deeply and absorb the natural sounds into your own body. Allow your inner rhythm to settle into deep relaxation.

Reviews:

Many thanks for your time….and explanation of the ‘always’ soundtrack. I have listened to it several times….and it is really fantastic. It certainly captures the sounds….and feeling… of Norfolk Island. You have produced a wonderful audio memento that I am sure is very much appreciated by all of those who purchased a copy. I have started to incorporate it in my meditation sessions, and it fits in really well. Many thanks for such a beautifully creative memory of Norfolk Island….and an excellent relaxation tool.

I have finally got around to listening to this wondrous kaleidoscope of sounds. It is truly masterful on so many levels and took me on such an entrancing and enchanting journey. There were highlights for me: some of the bird sounds were as if they were "miked". Another was the tumultuous sea (half way through the soundtrack) where I felt absolutely immersed in the sound.

I just did an amazing self crystal healing meditation using your CD and its awesome!
