ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jodi Krangle and Chris Conway have collaborated for over 15 years, and have sung together on stages in the United States, Canada and Great Britain. Time Will Tell features songs they have co-written and those they have composed individually, as well as standards and cover songs they both love and were keen to perform together. Over those past 15 years, Jodi and Chris have often wondered if they would ever make an album together. They used to say "time will tell," and now - at last - it has.

Cover Art by Beckett Gladney.

Outstanding!
I love this album, and am so pleased to have a recording of Jodi's smooth, sultry voice. A mix of old standards, some newer pieces and a few that will be familiar to those who know Jodi though her work in filk music. Chris Conway's wonderful piano is a perfect accompaniment to that lovely voice. The album makes you want to pour a glass of wine or whiskey and sit in the semi-dark, enveloped in the music and the mood. I tried to pick a favorite number but really couldn't, although the opening track, "I'll Be Seeing You" would be a strong contender, as it is an old favourite. As I guess is obvious, I highly recommend this album!

Whether you’re a jazz fan or not, you will inevitably fall in love with this alb
Between her dynamic range in vocals, her poignant lyrics, and exquisite style in music, Jodi never ceases to impress me with her many talents. This is an album that will stay with you long after you’re finished listening, with its relaxing mix of traditional and contemporary tones, its classically smooth ambiance, and captivating vocals. My personal favorites, “Too Soon For Forever” and “The Water Is Wide” were too easy to get immersed in, making this album a truly enjoyable experience!

Like a Warm Hug
I'll admit...this is not my normal listening genre. However, Jodi has one of the smoothest, silkiest voices I've ever heard! My personal favorites were "Too Soon for Forever" and "I'll Be Seeing You," but most every song was a calm, relaxing, melodic journey. If jazz is your cup of tea, this is definitely money well spent!!

Time Told The Truth - Jodi Krangle and Chris Conway Create Amazing Music Togethe
Jodi Krangle and Chris Conway soundly prove that long distance is deleted by great teamwork. Though they live an ocean apart, the music they create emanates from a singular place - a universe they have created which both soothes and inspires. Listening to their album "Time Will Tell" is the perfect antidote to the hectic, anxiety-filled lifestyle that so much of our culture has to live through on a daily basis. If you want to escape to a soothing, inspiring and pleasantly emotional land of enchantment - then get this album. Very well done to you both! Songs were expertly and emotionally performed and sung and the production was very consistent and warm and rich. My only question is: When will the next one be coming out?

Cozy, Warm, and Organic
The clear organic feel of Jodi Krangle’s album Time Will Tell backed by the Chris Conway Trio is a warm and refreshing jazz treat. Tasty piano riffs dancing in and out of original-styled melodies quench the listener’s artistic thirsty ear. Accompanied by the raspy acoustic bass, warmth of a seasoned six-string guitar, and smartly sprinkled percussion serve as perfect backdrop to Krangle’s sultry, almost whispering vocals.

A mix of originals and personal choice of covers from indie-pop, mild blues, and international genres are clearly jazz, clearly Krangle. A range of lyrical topics from the ageless Time Will Tell, to the flirting tease of Sex and Chocolate span this album’s diverse expression.

This artistic collection begs for a glass of favorite red wine, swallowed up in my chocolate leather lounge, lost in a musical journey by a wonderfully talented indie artist, and hoping for one more track.

Oh, what a voice!
This is a very smooth album. Jodi has a nice, smoky voice that just makes you want to sit down, close your eyes, and listen. It wraps it's arms around you and pulls you into the experience of listening to which you rapturously go. If I sound like I'm gushing, it's simply because she has one of the most compelling voices that you'll ever hear. The arrangements are tasteful, not too busy, not bland, but just right. Just the right amount of accompaniment to emphasize Jodi's voice, which is the main focus here. Nice, pristine production and mix. It's just a great album. Listen to the samples. They give you a true representation of this cd, then buy it. This is a great find.
