Album Notes
A woman who looks to Madonna, PJ Harvey, Fiona Apple and Tori Amos as influences seems to be on the right track. The most outstanding quality of the debut is Jodi's vocal style. She does not whine as so many pop female singers do these days, instead she eerily seduces the listener into her world. Her seductive, smooth voice deserves the passionate attention that listeners will give her.

By fusing together Rock, Rythmn & Blues and Pop then adding to the mix her eclectic vocal style and introspective lyrics, she creates a distinguishing sound in today's music scene.

A Unique Album Full Of Great Songs
This is a great overall album with a wide variety of songs that each have their own unique sound to them. A few of the songs do have rather weak endings, Cool River for instance, but other than that, I would say that this is an excellent CD. It was well worth the money!

I cannot stop listening. I don't know what else could say more than that, but I love this album. No one song sounds exactly like the others which in my book is a plus. They all have unique bodies of imagination and intelligence. It is nice to listen to a cd straight through and not feel as if you are listening to one continuously long song. This album is one of the 25 best I have heard so far this year. Wonderful lyrics, wonderful music, wonderful album!
