ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Life would be pretty boring if everyone were the same - Tracks 1 and 10 both celebrate our differences, in different ways . . . Having passed through my share of dark days, Track 2 is a glimmer of light from the other side . . . Tracks 3 and 4 speak to the truth that we are all connected - in life, love, and war - what happens to one ripples outward and effects us all . . . The only way for the crush-bearer in Track 5 to express his feelings is through poetry, having little effect on the object of his affection . . . Track 6 is meant as an instrumental Intermezzo. It is based on the piano part in "The Superhero (Nobody Knows)," from my "Friendly Universe Radio" YouTube channel . . . Flipping briefly to the SYFY channel for Track 7 - don’t touch that dial . . . Track 9 is a Tom Petty cover - in honor of the cool rocker from Gainesville.

Music, words, production, mix, arrangement, performance, and design by Joe Kherson except Track 7 – music by Lee Olsen and Joe Kherson, and Track 10 - music by Matthew Picarelli and Joe Kherson.

Mastered by, and many thanks to Andy VanDette for his expertise.

Special thanks to Jorge Iglesias for being the one I bring coffee to in the morning. Thanks also to my friends and family who still listen. In memory of the real musicians, Estelle Columbano and Don Ippolito, who taught me classical and jazz piano, respectively.
