Album Notes
From Six Nations Ontario Canada, Joel Johnson certainly does pack some hard hitting electric blues in his solo debut album Blues Joose Vol.1. Writing and recording all the songs himself, this blues man's journey has just begun. 2008 Best Blues Album award nominee and winner at the Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards with former band, the now solo blues man portrays his stlye of the music he loves so much. Also a former member of The Blues House Hustlers, he dedicated his album to his best friend and one of many mentors, Paul "Joose" Mitten. Forming the Blues House Hustlers they both started their blues journey playing many shows together and also appearing live on City TV's Breakfast Television. What to expect on Blues Joose Vol.1? It has a little bit of everything on it such as the swing, delta slide, funk, boogie woogie and Madness guitar playing and is certainly turning out to be an album to have.
