Album Notes
Rising out of the factories of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Joe Normal is a dynamic Singer Songwriter and artist who fronts his own rock band, The Anytown'rs.

Joe Normal & The Anytown'rs collective resume includes work, collaborations, and recordings with A-list artists including Dramarama, Izzy Stradlin (Guns 'n Roses), Aimee Mann, Jon Brion, Stiv Bators (Lords of the New Church), Fiona Apple, Sammy Hagar, Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Howard Stern, Susanna Hoffs and more.

Joe's work blends the melodic sensibilities and brilliance of classic British Pop, the roots and urgency of early American Rock and Roll, with the heart and insight of a Singer-Songwriter. Songs and sounds are favorably compared by the press to the likes of Paul Westerberg & The Replacements, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and even Sir Paul McCartney.

Lyrics often address the themes of working class life and impart a sense of hope to keep going for your dreams, to never give up in-spite of your struggles.

Live shows are a bonding experience between band and audience as Joe spins his stories and strives to make a personal connection with fans in every size venue.
