Album Notes
There was a lot of talent in a two block area of Mishawaka Avenue (Mishawaka, Indiana) in the 60’s & 70’s. Music and art flourished from three homes nearly a stone’s throw from one another. Two sisters, Emily & Lisa Germano grew up playing cello and violin respectively. Two doors down, Joe Probst began playing piano by ear at the age of five. Across the street, Chuck Strantz drew amazing pictures, and made horrific haunted rooms in their basement.
Though, now grown, and well into their own lives, the former neighbors teamed up to work on a beautifully crafted album called, “The Avenue”. Lisa & Emily’s phenomenal string work is layered on top of Joe’s graceful piano compositions. Chuck ‘s cover design and stunning illustrations inside the CD’s jacket make “The Avenue” a must-have for your music collection. Chuck, Emily, Lisa & Joe present a glimpse of life as they remember it … years later. From their homes to yours. Enjoy.
Enjoy a musical and artistic journey back to a simpler life on … “the Avenue” .
