Album Notes
Joey Hizon is a singer/songwriter from Brisbane, Australia and has a passion to spread God's message of hope to all His people, regardless if they believe in God or not.

Joey Hizon Project (JHP) consists of Joey and whoever jumps on the stage with him. It is not a band but more so a ministry, or a group of people wanting to help make a positive difference through music. JHP's music draws it's influence from artists such as Jeremy Camp, Chris Tomlin, Matt Maher, Hillsong United, Seventh Day Slumber, SameState, Tenth Avenue North, MercyMe, Pete Murray, John Butler, Coldplay, and Third Day. Joey's music talks about love, hope, freedom, and anything inspiring and uplifting, which is a refreshing change from some of the self-centred and negative music out there.

Joey Hizon Project was voted into the Top 6 (out of more than 30 bands) in the Australian state of Queensland for Hard Rock Rising 2012, which gave them a spot to play at the iconic Hard Rock Cafe at Surfer's Paradise, Gold Coast. This was a huge blessing as not only did Joey and friends get the chance to perform infront of some leaders in the Australian music industry, but most importantly to be able to share their music with everyone.

Since the release of his debut single in Sept 2011, Joey and friends have played at a number of events including support for GRAMMY-nominee and Dove Award singer/songwriter Jeremy Camp, performed at Easterfest 2012 (largest Christian festival in Australia), Brisbane Multicultural Fiesta, The Friday Night Gig, Shark Bar, Awakening, BalconyTV Brisbane, and at the annual ClearThinking Cube event, to name a few. They have been blessed to have shared the stage with great musicians such as TiGERTOWN, Transience Invalid, SAFE HAVEN (USA), Luke Robinson, Luminate (USA), Mike Mains & The Branches, Endless Praise, and Garage Hymnal. 2012 will see the release of Joey's debut acoustic EP.

What will the future hold for Joey Hizon? Only God knows....
