ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Not What I Expected" is my 11th. album of instrumental music featuring a wide range of instruments from hammered dulcimer and Irish harp to guitars, strange stringed instruments and keyboards. The songs express my love of Cape Cod and of Celtic/Irish music. I enjoy giving you , the listener, an album that will keep you interested throughout the album. You will never get two songs that sound exactly the same and I guarantee that each one will grow on you. It will be difficult to pick a favorite.
Why the unusual title for this album? Well, I was working on ideas for two other albums and got a bit sidetracked...when this one came from nowhere. Expect the unexpected! Enjoy the unexpected! I certainly did....and yes.....the tie is real.
