ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I have always wanted to do a sound track to a movie but the odds of ever being asked are slim. "Not Coming to a Theater Near You" is my answer to this; a sound track to a movie that doesn't exist, never existed and probably shouldn't exist. I took a lifetime of favorite movies and sound tracks and paid homage to them by composing music in my own New Age/folk, instrumental style. There's a ride out of the sunrise, a New Age hero, a heroine, of course, a conflicted villain, your typical bar room fight, always a desert, a final showdown and a ride off into the sunset. What more could you ask for? Oh, yes...I forgot the attack of the sand sharks and killer clowns...really. The original score is loaded with synthesizers, almost everything with strings, at least 22 guitar mutations, fiddle and hammered dulcimer. SO! Grab some popcorn, have a seat and don't enjoy the movie. It's a great ride!
