John D'earth is a jazz trumpet artist and composer who is committed to breaking down barriers between musicians and approaches to music-making. All of his music is informed by jazz, the music of Black America, and by the classical and indigenous musics of the world. Jazz explores and articulates the present moment, the moment when music takes off as a social art that authentically expresses and affirms the real human situation.
