Album Notes
The soundtrack album from the musical play "Johnny Canuck" was recorded by John DeYoung. John DeYoung played all the parts and sang all the vocals and stars in the stage production of this one-man show playing the part of Johnny Canuck. The play was written by the late Jovanka Bach and produced & directed by her husband John Stark. Six of the songs are original lyrics by Jovanka Bach with music composed by John DeYoung. One song ( Sans Ton Amour ) is an original song by John DeYoung ( Without Your Love ) Translated into French by Johns' wife, Linda-marie Monier. Another song called "Sunset" is a traditional lyric by an unknown writer with original music by John DeYoung. The rest of the songs are traditional public domain folk songs.
