Album Notes
Live at Legs was recorded at Legs Inn, Cross Village, Michigan on July 21, 1990. It was released only on cassette and had been unavailable for 20 years until now (July 31, 2012). The band is comprised of songwriter John D. Lamb on lead vocal and guitar, the late Salvatore D'Agnillo on lead guitar, Myk Rise on bass, Mitch Purdy on drums, and Andy Boller on keyboards. The project was funded by the late Ann Arbor restaurateur George Maloof, who commissioned watercolor artist Greg Sobran to paint the cover art. The recording was engineered by Jay Barth, who had been the touring sound engineer for Bob Seger, Cheap Trick and Rod Stewart. Barth recorded from console straight to D.A.T. and no overdubs were used. This document captures the band soaring at the height of summer 1990.
