ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
John has been playing guitar and writing songs for over 50 years. He was an ATCO Records recording artist in the 80’s, a classical radio program director in the 90’s, a Sirius Satellite Radio DJ in the 2000’s, and a frequent performer at the famous Cafe Artichoke in Portland in the 2010’s. A student of both Tommy Emmanuel and Pierre Bensusan, John’s performances always feature a wide variety of styles—360 degrees of guitar from Bach to Hendrix to flamenco. A recent pilgrimage to the Camino de Santiago in Spain has inspired new original music and poetry, and the current national political climate has triggered a new sing-along protest song.
