Album Notes
John Dunnigan\'s 5th Album.
Featuring 8 originals and 3 outstanding songs from fellow song-writers.
The title song Jacks Guitar is enough to stop you in your tracks...and the dobro playing the shows up during half the tunes is John\'s son Andy, a 3rd year student and the University of Montana in Missoula.
The tune Jacks Guitar is played on Jacks Guitar, a causality of WW2, John has managed to hang on to the guitar that is now 70 years old and was used in the recording!
John plays all the acoustic, banjo and harmonica on the 11 tracks.
Along with a rhythm section that he has used for 20 years
The mood is mellow but understated humor and a keen eye on the ever changing world show up in this \"fabled Montana performer\".

We've enjoyed John's music for years. Jacks Guitar is terrific. It show a maturing of his music and maybe a little cynicism of the times we live in. This music is deep and shows how complex our favorite singer has become. Thanks John, great stuff.
