Album Notes
The music of John Edmond is original, fresh and nothing like it has ever been created before. John Edmond comes from pioneering stock with warrior forefathers. His interest and research in the Anglo Boer War and Zulu wars inspired him to document in song the life and times of the characters that shaped the history of South Africa. The songs portray accurate descriptions of all the facts, people, places and heroes of the Battles. John's Battlefield songs have become so popular that he does live performances for people that come as tourists from around the world to the various Battlefield sites in South Africa. He has the magic and imagination to portray in words and music the complete lifespan and highlights of characters like Chaka the Zulu warrior, Mahatma Gandhi, General Buller, The Prince Imperial of France and the The Voortrekkers; Epic happenings like Spioen Kop, Blood River, Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and Magersfontein. If you have not heard it you are missing something very special.
John Edmond has done live performances all over the world doing music concerts in 2013 in Las Vegas, 2014 In the UK and 2015 In Australia. See the web site
