Album Notes
"Yule Be Lovin' This!" brings the traditional fun, warmth and charm of the Christmas and holiday season right to your door (well, sorta) rolling out 8 wonderfully classic yuletide treasures in true swinging jazz style.

Modern crooner John Eric Booth brings along a sweet-sounding array of fine sidemen for this festive joyride... Martin Majorov & Tom Stephens / Guitars, Richard Freedman / Trumpet, Charles Oslo / Piano, Niles Vandergriff / Drums and Jeffrey Williams / Upright Bass. Co-produced by John Eric Booth and Damien Montalto. Montalto also mixed and mastered the album for digital release from his home studio in Geelong, Australia. JUST LISTEN!

Influenced by the greats such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Engelbert Humperdinck, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and many others, John Eric Booth considers entertaining his fans as his greatest indulgence as a singer. He says his fans are the spring that propel him to higher musical levels and visions.

"I was a crooner, before I ever realized I was a crooner." Booth jokes.

“Getting messages from new fans about how my music has touched their lives is a pulse that keeps me going. It impacts me positively on a variety of personal levels and constantly enriches my life by making a difference in others.”

“This music is more than just a showcase of my talent, it’s an expression of my passion. I consider it as a reflection of my attitude in life. It's without a doubt, a lifestyle.”

Naughty and nice
John Eric Booth can swing, and that should be all I need to say to persuade you to get this gem of a Christmas album.
I first got to know Mr. Booth when I was looking for covers of “Girl Talk”, the superbly funny and very politically incorrect song by Neal Hefti & Bobby Troup. I knew the London and Bennett versions so I was in the mood for something different. And boy did I find that something different when I came across John Eric Booth’s clip on YouTube. Booth’s version — intelligent, approachable, sexy — made me an instant fan.
You’ll find the very same warmth, old-school elegance, and swing on Booth’s Christmas album. And the fact that he’s included Vince Guaraldi’s “Christmas Time is Here” (one of my favorite songs ever, and maybe yours too) is the best Christmas gift I could’ve gotten.

One last thing: listen for the terrific overdubbing work on “Blue Christmas”. You’ll be amazed. I give this release five stars!

A MUST HAVE for the Holidays
Christmas classics? Check. Swinging and surprising vocal twists? Check. Jazz guitars, piano, trumpets and catchy bass lines? Check. This album has it all. Gave John Eric Booth a try and I was very impressed. Just found out he’s selling CD copies as well! This digital download has been playing on repeat in my house for days. Has been a great addition to my Christmas festivities. If you like familiar Christmas tunes and you want something fun and elegant, this is a no-brainer. I’m a fan! Keep up the great work, Mr Booth!
