ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
“I can never answer the question, “So, what’s your favorite music?” The songs on this CD should attest to that; some might even jog your memory.”

John Falbo is now working out of Las Vegas but his trail can be traced from New York recording studios, Bronx nightclubs, national tours, London, Paris and Brussels. This could account for his eclectic taste in music.

Q: You had some great musicians on your Columbia sessions.
A: Oh yeah. We had Bobby Gregg and Bucky Pizzarelli on guitar, Panama Francis and “Sticks” Evans on drums, Jerome Richardson—a monster player—played alto sax. Buddy Lucas played tenor sax and harmonica. Johnny Falbo played electric guitar on some of the blues things, and we had bunch of great musicians from the Apollo in Harlem.
(Dion Dimucci - Frets Magazine interview 2006)
