ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"You Have a Voice" is a live recording of a concert staged in Houston, TX, in May 2011. It is a powerful collection of the original music of John Hardesty from rock to love songs, and is performed by vocalists Julia Laskowski, Sky Shepherd, Boris Britt, and the late Keith Caldwell. Musicians in addition to John (keyboards) are Max Dyer (cello), Keith Vivens (bass), and Carl Lott, Jr. (drums). There are also three improvs - piano, piano/cello, and vocal/piano/cello - included. This concert was described as "beyond Jones Hall" (the performance venue of the Houston Symphony and many other sensational artists). It was truly a feast for the senses as beautiful artistic video images accompanied the performance of each song.
