ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Eternity" - is the 4th CD (and 2nd Solo Release) from John Lyell, an artist who is steeped in the subconsciousness of today's Ambient Electronic music. The long awaited follow up CD to his last commercial release "Dimensions" (2006), "Eternity" is a predominantly Atmospheric and SpaceMusic experience that has a mixture of soft rhythmic pulse elements and drifting SpaceMusic pieces.

"Eternity" is similar in nature to "Dimensions" but is even more Atmospheric at times than it's predecessor and slightly more minimalistic at times as well. Definitely "sedate, atmospheric background music" would be a good description of this new release by John. You will hear some shades of past releases in these compositions but there are some musical departures as well.

This synthesizer based Atmospheric - SpaceMusic CD was Composed, Performed, Engineered and Produced by John at his project studio in Minneapolis, MN.
