ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
John Lyons & Rolf Birri are a songwriting project based in Watt, Switzerland. On The Road is the first single from this new songwriting team. We like to think the sound is reminiscent of Dire Straits, Chris Rea or George Harrison mainly because of the slide guitar sounds in the melody. Enjoy On The Road and stay tuned for more releases in the coming months.

On The Road
Lyrics by John Lyons, Music by Rolf Birri & John Lyons

Rise up in the morning
Shake my weary head
Rub my tired eyes
Shake this feeling dead

Don’t know where I’m going
Only God knows where I’ve been
This down and dirty feeling
While I’m missing her again

Out here on the road
Out here on the road

She’s tired of the lies
Said can’t take it anymore
Another lonely night
Then she throwed me out the door

Don’t know where I’m going
Only God knows where I’ve been
This down and dirty feeling
While I’m missing her again

-Gtr Solo-

Don’t know just where I’m going
Only God knows where I’ve been
This down and dirty feeling
While I’m missing her again

Don’t know just where I’m going
Only God knows where I’ve been
This down and dirty feeling
While I’m missing her again

Out here on the road
Out here on the road
