Album Notes
A follow up to 2008's "Fireworks In The Rain", "3 Dollar Thrill" is the latest offering from New York based singer songwriter John Manion. This is a collection of songs stemming from everyday life in the greater New York City area. " 3 Dollar Thrill" was recorded over a two area period in Park Slope Brooklyn. The tracks were cut live in the studio and the feel is reminiscent of a party record but the conversations are intelligent and we are drinking good wine.

There are no co-dependent love songs on this project. However if you are interested in rebellious pigeons, street vendors and an overbearing life of the party perhaps you need to give "3 Dollar Thrill" a listen. John Manion spent 22 years living in Nashville, TN prior to moving to New York in 2002. The songs are well crafted and feature great musician's. Manion's music has been described as thinking music for the drinking man.
