ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Amalgam is a collaboration between Brad Benge and John Noerdlinger (Genuine Hick). John financed the project and wrote the songs. Brad produced and performed the tunes. A very experimental project with many different styles of music. Check out the old-time country songs "Wandering Eye" and "Early Saturday Night," the bluegrassy "Born on the Highway" and the tragic pop love song "It's Impossible." Other highlights include the gruesome shock rock song "Guilty as Sin," the Jerry Lee Lewis-ish thumper "Working Girl," and the deranged pop anthem "Big Girl."
