Album Notes
Just released, recorded at Dockside studio in Maurice Louisiana and Produced by grammy award winer Anders Osborne, Anders also plays guitar along with Galactics drummer Stanton Moore and Bass player Rob Mercurio Also featuring 88 year old Chess Records side man Henry Gray on Piano, Henry played on many of the great sides by Howlin Wolf and little Walter, Singer Maggie Koerner also brings a modern twist to the sections. Johnny's harp is front and center on all the tracks playing electrifying diatonic and chromatic blues harp. The song writing is a mix of Johnny's classic and new almost hip hop influenced blues.
