Album Notes
Here's what some others are saying about Exorcising Ghosts.....

John Piccari is obviously a man who knows and loves his music and the influence of The Beatles and George Harrison in particular is very evident. This is a superbly produced album that is a personal favorite of mine. “Spiritual" but not overtly "religious" it has a depth of beautifully expressed thoughts. It can be listened to many times and yet more things can keep being discovered-surely the sign of a great album. Highly recommended.

The Kingborough Chronicle

From the opening title song, to the wonderful end.. “Exorcising Ghosts” is a woven blend of sounds in pop, rock and ballad that make an entire recording well worth hearing-and then hearing again. Using very clean production , the music and honest vocals deliver an easy connection , becoming praise to the One who gives it all a voice.

Johns direct approach both musically and lyrically come together with a bounce that makes one want to be a part of the feeling-a part of the experience that includes hope, wonder, trust and confidence in this unsure world around us.

The Harrison influenced “I Worship You” maintains a unique sound while simply reminding us the best in music does live on .

This recording is no sleeper. Songs like “Sotto Voce” and “Tell” use fresh rock tones while retaining the intent of what’s being said. This approach is what keeps the listener intrigued throughout. There is a simple beauty in both “Supercede” and “Wonderful” that all who love music will enjoy-and again-the lyrics in these songs bring a longing and desire-emotions within the heart of us all.
