“Crush The Fear” is a gut reaction to Donald Trump’s unexpected win in the U.S. presidential election. The song is a call-to-arms to not accept the “new normal” of fear and division. Politics has always included backroom deals, corruption, and abuse of power but Trump’s presidency has dragged the whole world into uncharted - and dangerous - territory.

The last line of the song. left hanging, gives the marching orders: “It’s not a time to be silent”. By writing, recording, and releasing “Crush The Fear”, John Pippus and David Puzak have joined the informal network of songwriters who have lent their talents to calling out Donald Trump and all he represents. It’s not a time to be silent.

“Crush The Fear” is the fourth release from the writing and performing team of John Pippus and David Puzak who call their project THE SARNIA BOYS, Based in Vancouver and Toronto, respectively, the duo meet up occasionally for writing and recording sessions. They have also played a few dates in Ontario, as a duo and with a backing band in 2016, touring as The Sarnia Boys. See:
