ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"They Lived It up Then Wrote It Down" is part of the ODYSSEY, a collection of songs by John Schneider, which he also produced alongside Paul Leim and Alicia Allain, and recorded with Bob Bullock at Backstage Studios. John had this to say about the track "Being able to sing a whispering Bill Anderson song and be the first person to record it and release it is about as close to God as any singer can hope to get. In this song, Bill talks of nearly every truly great country music singer that ever lived from the greats like Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr, Hank Williams Jr, Willie Nelson and all those true outlaws who lived before, during and after. To be able to tell such a grand story in such simple lyrics is truly a gift from God! This is one of those songs that immediately sounds like you're heard it your whole life from the very first downbeat. What a tremendous honor to have been chosen to be the performer that finally lets this amazing cat out of the bag!"

Tribute to the Heroes
John Schneider is back to give us his best in country music! This fantastic new song has the flashiness style of today’s youth while keeping the flavor of the old time, toe-tapping country western music of the past. Paying tribute to the greats like Johnny Cash through his nostalgic Stagecoach movie , John tips his cowboy hat to Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and more! What a delight to hear new music from Artist Studio Access! Rock on John!

Country Music Perfection!
Ahhh, John Schneider delivers an amazing performance as he crosses the threshold back into country music. His gifted, nostalgic voice whisks you down memory lane with some of television's most iconic movie and country music performers, including himself. He enkindles the memories of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Hank WIlliams, Sr., and more. When you hear his voice, it will ignite the need to shimmy, swing, and shake--so get ready when you hear this song! His many country music singles have reached #1 on the country Billboard charts, and it's easy to hear and see why! PERFECTION, ladies and gentlemen!
