Album Notes
John Scalici is a musician, drumming facilitator, speaker, and composer who desires to share his passion for rhythm and drumming with all people regardless of ability, race, religion, or gender orientation.
The CD is a practice/play a long format. On each track, the rhythm/pattern is spoken over a shaker track, then transferred to the drum using the Gun Dun (bass) Go Do (tone) and Pa Ta (slap) syllable method made popular by Nigerian master drummer Babatunji Olatunji.
A free chart of all the rhythms plus three variations are available by sending an email to after purchasing the tracks. Hope you enjoy your rhythmic journey!!
