Give God the Blues

by John Schneider

This hysterically serious, finger-pointing yet complimentary song is about disregarding what we believe in, and looking at the bigger picture to know we are all in this together.

Album Notes
"Give God The Blues" is part of the ODYSSEY, a collection of songs by John Schneider, which he also produced alongside Paul Leim and Alicia Allain, and recorded with Bob Bullock at Backstage Studios. John had this to say about the track, "Every now and again a song comes across my ears that is undeniably the truth. In a very rare occasion, a song is undeniably the truth for everyone who hears it. "Give God the Blues" is such that song, and no matter where a person stands, or what is your truth, I think we can all agree, we all give God the blues. I wise man once said, 'Man makes plans, while God chuckles.'"

Tells the Truth!
What a raw and honest song. This is a song that everyone can relate to on some level. We all at one point n our lives have judges someone for something. This song shines a beautiful life on the TRUTH! God still loves us through it all. What I think is even more amazing is if a song can stir a conversation and even get people to change their views for a greater world. I know for a FACT this song has made an impression on a few people that served. Way to go John and Alicia!!! Congratulations to the song writer and Session Krew, too!
