Album Notes
Novato is 30 miles north of San Francisco and is a hotbed of jambands and americana musicians. Pat Campbell is a neighbor of mine -- look him up in the history of the Dead -- one of his early albums was produced by Jerry. Jimmy Brighton from the magnificient band, Stackabones -- what an honor to have Jimmy on these recordings. For everyone out there who loves Jerry's guitar playing -- please give Jimmy a listen. Steve Taylor has been active on the Marin music scene since the days of Uncle Charlie's in the seventies -- we met playing in a great pickup band here in Novato that played at a community benefit. His drumming made me feel something from the first instant.

The producer for these recordings is Randy Rood, another veteran of the bay area music scene. His artistic touches brought out the most in every song. If you like the Grateful Dead, we hope you'll also enjoy these recordings. Also, many thanks to Tyler Crowder at Laughing Tiger Studios in San Rafael, CA. He did a great job recording the tracks for Natural Way and La Quinta. Do a Dance tracks were recorded at Wild Rose Studios in Petaluma -- much thanks to Helanya. Vocals were recorded at Kaos Studios in Hayward thanks to the generous efforts of my stepson, Jason Darnell of the band Kaos and his partner, Stacey Murray, also from Kaos. -- Thanks Guys!

-- Thanks for listening -- John Wilson
