In 2000, The Jolly Rogers decided to create an ambitious project: a 2-CD album. The first would be all-new music for the band, the second would be a compilation of favorites that didn't make it onto the previous album, "Pirates' Gold." Unfortunately, the original project never lived up to the expectations of the band, so it was allowed to fade away after a few years in print.
However, the fans kept asking for it to return so in 2006 The Jolly Rogers asked their good friend and recording engineer, Don James, to remix and re-master the album with the best in modern digital technology. Working from the original master tapes, Don worked his magic until the finished result came out better than anyone could have ever hoped.
The first disc, "Loose Cannons" was completely remixed and re-mastered. The second disc, "Midnight Buffet" (a live, in-studio recording) was left as it was - while there are a few rough spots, it boasts the energy you can only get from live performance.
