ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jonathan Murphy is a baritone vocalist and classically trained pianist. He began playing piano professionally for church as a teenager, which he currently continues with over 16 years of experience. Jonathan served as a choir director and music minister for eight years and has served as a cantor at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for over a decade. His vocal instructors have included Mrs. Mary Beth Taylor, Mr. Benjamin Middaugh, and Mr. Doff Procter. To each of these talented singers and instructors, Jonathan would like to express his sincerest gratitude. The album features Jonathan's piano playing and rich, baritone vocals over backing orchestral arrangements by producer, Mike Clarke. It is best described as contemplative, prayerful, easy-listening Christian/spiritual music and could be enjoyed by a person of any faith background.

Good Music
To review this album is to say "soothing", "emotional", "enjoyable" and "easy listening". The singer
has a beautiful baritone voice and accompanies himself on the piano and with an orchestra.

Best Album I Own
It seems difficult these days to find Christian music that is serene and contemplative, but Jonathan has captured that tone on this album and he struck it out of the ballpark! His voice is simply gorgeous as it soars confidently over piano and orchestral music. He is such an amazing artist and I'm looking forward to what he will do next. I listen to this album every day during my prayer and meditation time. Also, I like that I can understand every single word he sings because is diction is so perfect. I would highly recommend this album to anyone. - Monica
