Album Notes
Born in Mobile and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Jonathan Pierce started playing drums in 2003 at the age of 21 while attending Auburn. He slowly moved over to guitar around 2008. In 2012, he started an original Americana band in Atlanta called Blue Jays Band. In less than two years, they were booked solid in Florida and opened for big touring acts, like Sister Hazel in June of 2014. He has performed for thousands in Atlanta and Florida including opening for comedian Jim Farber in Athens, Ga. He has had several songs on Blacksky radio played across the nation and airplay in the UK. Then in 2015 he took a break from music for 2 years after losing his mom to illness.

In November of 2016, he moved to Nashville to bring you a new blend of Southern, Country, Folk and Rock. In less than a year I have already performed at Ascend Amphitheater before the Philip Phillips/Goo Goo Dolls and was invited back again to perform before Blackberry Smoke/Warren Haynes.

"The signature JPB sound is loving lyrics, present grooves with a dose of exciting or harmonizing guitar riffs. I am excited to share this new band with you, it's who I am." - Jonathan Pierce
