Album Notes
Musician Jon Berman is about to release his latest recorded offering: Hidden Road. Why does this matter? It matters because one of the songs has already made some noise. The lead off track to the album, the laid back, Jimmy Buffett-influenced "Corona In My Coffee Cup", quietly entered the iTunes Chart under the "Easy Listening" genre, and rose throughout it's release week to number four.

Hidden Road, which will be released on iTunes and Spotify as well as CD format, was recorded by Peter Adams in Otis, Massachusetts over a two day period. Adams also lent his skill on pedal steel guitar to all of the tracks. In addition, Steve Kareta, from the western Massachusetts based touring act Changes In Latitudes, sings and plays guitar with Berman on "Corona In My Coffee Cup".

Jon Berman, who originally moved to western Massachusetts to attend Westfield State, has made his home here with his family in Blandford. He will be opening the Westfield On Weekends and Kix100.9 sponsored Granger Smith concert on July 21st, and the Aaron Lewis & Friends at Pines Theatre in Look Park concert on August 12.

Jon Berman is a cancer surviving singer-songwriter with a joy and thirst for life in his travels. He is TMan's dad, a terrible hockey player, and the writer of the #4 iTunes easy listening hit "Corona in My Coffee Cup" - with a new album:

After hitting the road with countless bands as a sideman, songwriter Jon Berman picked up a guitar and brought his own music to life.

With influences ranging from the coastal music of Jimmy Buffet and Kenny Chesney, touching upon the country of Dierks Bentley and Willie Nelson, and reaching to the songwriting of Stephen Kellogg and Will Hoge, Jon’s music covers many genres that appeal to a wide listening audience.

Jon has performed with acts such as Changes in Latitudes, The Sweet Remains, Hard Rock Café Ambassador of Rock winners Jackson Wetherbee Band, Barefoot Truth, Stephen Kellogg, John Frinzi, Rick Monroe and the ska band T.I.P.

In his touring career, Jon has opened for many national acts including country stars Granger Smith and Clare Dunn, O.A.R., Matt Nathanson, Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Gin Blossoms, Collective Soul, Guster, Sully Erna of Godsmack, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Shinedown, Staind and Aaron Lewis.
