Album Notes
My name is Jon Brændsgaard Toft, and I’m a solo artist from Denmark. I’ve recorded all my music alone, but at this time I’m collecting people to form at live band, so I can get out and play. I play rock music (mostly inspired from the 70’s), but I also add none-rock instruments such as the clarinet, to experiment and to create my own style.

I’ve been a student on the Rudolf Steiner-School, where I’ve learned a lot about classical music. It’s also here I’ve learned to play the clarinet. Since that, I’ve been on a school called Frontsession, where I played Latin-American music in 6 months. Elements from that (typical percussion rhythms) also appear in my compositions. Latest, I’ve been on the Competence House (a Danish school), where I’ve learned to record and mix the music professionally.

By the way, I have written and released to science fiction books (in Danish), “Den Knaldrøde Zone” (2005) and “Den Azurblå Zone” (2007).
The music on the disc is the result of many years playing and experimenting, personally and musically. I’ve written all the songs, recorded the whole on my own and produced it. Only the mastering process I have let the German company to do.
