Album Notes
JONG is an electronic music project created by Jonathan Garnier (music composer, graphic and sound designer originally from Paris)
Jong started producing several tracks on chill out and downbeat compilations. His album 'Reminiscences' is a blend of colorful landscapes, organic beats and melodic trance. He had been working as a composer and sound designer for film too, which helps explain why he has established his own sense of deep acoustic soundscapes in his music. The music of JONG is influenced by the early electronic music pioneers and psychedelic bands such as Pink Floyd, Catharsis, Gong, Michael Stearns, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and by contemporary ambient artists such as Tetsu Inoue, Simon Posford, Russ Davies, Ott...
