ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This project began with my desire to record some of the old hymns that I enjoyed singing as a young kid. The more we worked with it, the more the songs began to gravitate toward my personal style of music. I grew up listening to country and western, bluegrass, and even big bands (thanks to my dad). It appeared to us that no where else had anyone combined the style of western swing and traditional gospel hymns. We also included country ballad and rock-a-billy. We gave it a shot and this CD is the end result. I hope you enjoy it and the songs will speak to your spirit as they do mine.
