ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If you have the notion that Jordan Knoxx is just a performance artist then let me begin to enlighten you. Born & raised in Hollis, Queens this New York native spent her early years honing in on her basketball skills winning multiple tournaments, landing PSAL headlines in the local newspaper, and going on to get offers to play D2 basketball. Deciding to take a break from ball to focus on her studies she attended the University of Delaware’s Computer Science program. It is on this campus that Jordan found her voice and one of the most challenging times of her life to date. Her performance of the acclaimed poem “The Wrong One” struck a deep note with the students of UD. Her mission was made known by the realness found in her lyrics, “I had to speak the truth. I had to express what was going on inside of me and I couldn’t let anything stop my voice from being heard” Jordan then known as Poetic Prodigy started to make her mark with conscious lyrics and controversial content packaged in thought out stage performances. She continued to take part in campus showcases and events quickly being known as a truth slinger at any costs and anywhere. After being spotted at a performance, Jordan started recording with a local MC who helped her transition into Hip Hop. The rest is history yet to be told and a story yet to be completed.
