Album Notes
Welcome to the
Creative World of Jorian Clair

Jorian Clair began her theatrical career as a stage actress and singer at age 6. She took a hiatus from show business while earning a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Psychology, and chose to settle in a different career. As a Journalist, Jorian earned numerous national awards and commendations for her nonfiction feature articles. Further recognition came with her award-winning children’s book, "The Crooked Little Christmas Tree."

Jorian, who lost her sight to a genetic disease of the retina in the year 2000, has never allowed her "invisible disability" to interfere with her goals as a writer and martial artist. But the reduced mobility imposed by blindness has kept her away from acting and singing. Over the years, Jorian would sometimes create the lyrics and melodies for songs and "musical monologues" as a creative way for expressing her reactions to what was going on in her life. These works are now available to the public for the first time ever on her new extended play recording, "Lost and Found.”

Lost and Found
"Lost and Found" is a musical tribute to the cabaret era by Jorian Clair. Her debut recording of seven original songs lace original lyrics reminiscent of the ‘40s and ‘50s club genre. The musical monologues from “Lost and Found” are thoughtful and passionate by a chanteuse that recalls the cabaret music of Edith Piaf.

Beautiful Songs
We have enjoyed the "Lost & Found" album at work for months now. It calms the air. We all love it.

Superbly Expressive
Listening to this album brought me to various times during my life where I can meaningfully lookup passion, loneliness, love, happiness and recall those timed sequential relationships that span the past, present, and most likely the future. Jorian seems to defy the strands of time with her meaningful melodic purpose in every song. Soothing yet touching.
