This CD is dedicated to Isabel, Marc and Laia, who are my three loves, and my parents both have to be thankful for everything they have given me.

I want to give a million thanks to Javier, Luis, Oscar and Slawomir for the pieces that they have written and dedicated to me and that with the work of Jim, are first recordings.

Also Adolfo, Rafa, Jose Luis, Adam, Armando and Pascual for his involvement in the project.

Jean Moorehead Libs:

“Jose, I have listened to you entire CD again this morning, once again I am inspired by your amazing musicianship:)). Every note is superb! I especially love Slaweks”

Gabriel Vincent DiMartino:

“Jose! I listened to your CD twice on the way home, and three more times the following week. I couldn’t get enough! I finally loaned it to a horn-playing friend and said to her “You have to listen to this, this is what trumpet should sound like. And what’s more, the recital was just as good live!!” I don’t know how you make such difficult music sound so easy, but I’m practicing better thanks to your master class so I hope to figure some things out!”

Kevin McKee:

” Listening to Jose Chafer‘s new CD, Spirit. Brilliant, beautiful and fiery trumpet playing. His Centennial Horizon is certainly one of the best I’ve heard. Great job, Jose! “
